Tauranga Overnight - Auckland Branch

This weekend we have down as an overnight ride to Tauranga. Please let me know if you are interested in coming on this ride so I can accommodate numbers.
Depart 11.00am from Autobahn Drury
Lunch on the way - route yet to be determined.
Arrive, Tauranga, but stay at Mt Maunganui. (Accommodation details to be sorted, but I'll find a place and let everyone know so you can make your own bookings)

Saturday evening: Find a hot pool to soak in.
Sunday afternoon: Ride home.

Pink Ribbon Ride 5th Anniversary - Auckland and Wellington Branches

This is our very own charity ride. It needs the support of all members, and Friends of WIMA. Please attend the meeting on Friday 29 August to get the details on what is required in terms of planning and organising up to the day. Please note that the weekend before there is a mock run, designed to check for trouble spots and issues that may impede the ride and as many people as possible is required for this. There will also be assistance required on the day, so please mark these two weekends in your calender as WIMA weekends.

LABOUR WEEKEND - East Cape - Auckland Branch

In January there was lots of interest expressed about going to the East Cape. Planning for this will start in the next few weeks, so those interested in coming: please let me know. The plan is to start the ride on the Saturday and miss the Friday night exit from Auckland. Returning on Tuesday 28 October - to again miss the Monday crawl back into Auckland - so put that leave application in now. There will be no Wednesday ride this month due to it being the week after Labour weekend. Contact: Christine Mudford if you'd like more details.

Taupo - WIMA AGM - All Branches

There is no rally being arranged this year, however at the last years rally it was decided that the AGM would be held in Taupo, and people could make their own way there for the meeting, which would be on the Saturday afternoon. It is envisaged that those going from Auckland would travel down together, and treat it as a weekend overnight stay ride. Details to be confirmed, but my thinking is:
Depart 9.30 - 10.00 am from Autobahn Drury
Arrive Taupo about 1pm
Attend the AGM meeting
Go out for dinner
Sunday - ride home after checking out from accommodation.
Meeting venue still to be confirmed, but once done, accommodation can be sorted.
